Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12-hour days

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters for ongoing casual work based in the Port Pirie area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for trade-qualified professionals looking for consistent, long-term hours with a competitive hourly rate. You will be working on a Monday to Friday roster, completing 12-hour shifts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- For Boilermakers: Structural steel fabrication, heavy welding (MIG/TIG/Stick), plate work, repairs, and reading/interpreting engineering drawings.
- For Mechanical Fitters: Maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy industrial plant equipment, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and related machinery.
- Adhering strictly to site safety policies, OH&S; guidelines, and completing pre-start checks.
- Working effectively both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Skills & Experience Required




- Trade Qualification (Australian Recognized Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication/Mechanical).
- Proven experience in heavy industrial, mining, or manufacturing environments.
- Current High-Risk Work Licences (e.g., Forklift, EWP, Crane) are highly advantageous.
- Strong commitment to site safety and zero-harm procedures.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
