About the role

Adelaide Cosmetic & Laser Clinic is seeking a talented and dedicated Laser and Beauty Therapist to join our team in North Adelaide/Port Adelaide. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst delivering high-quality cosmetic and laser treatments to our valued clients. As a Laser and Beauty Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their aesthetic goals whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and care. This role is integral to our clinic's reputation for excellence and client satisfaction. Full time position can be considered for experinced and committed candidates.

Key responsibilities

- Perform laser treatments including hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and other advanced laser therapies in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines

- Administer beauty treatments such as facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and other skin care treatments tailored to individual client needs

- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess skin types, discuss treatment goals and recommend appropriate treatment plans

- Maintain detailed client records and treatment documentation to ensure continuity of care and track progress

- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated and cleaned according to health and safety standards

- Provide clients with pre- and post-treatment care advice to optimise results and minimise adverse reactions

- Maintain a clean, hygienic and professional treatment setting at all times

- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques and continuing education to deliver cutting-edge treatments

- Contribute to a positive clinic atmosphere and provide exceptional customer service to all clients

What we're looking for

- Current and valid qualification in laser and beauty therapy from a recognised training provider

- Professional certification or accreditation in cosmetic and laser treatments





- Proven experience working as a beauty or laser therapist in a clinical or salon setting

- Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, skin types and contraindications for laser and beauty treatments

- Excellent understanding of health, safety and infection control standards relevant to cosmetic procedures

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele

- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality results

- Professional and courteous demeanour with a passion for client satisfaction

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment

- Knowledge of laser safety protocols and experience with laser equipment is highly desirable
