We are looking for a qualified and experienced Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our busy, patient-focused dental practice in beautiful Taree.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with no weekend work, offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive, professional team committed to providing high-quality dental care in a welcoming environment.

About the Role

As an important member of our team, you will be responsible for both clinical assisting and front reception duties, including:

- Chairside assistance for a variety of dental procedures

- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring efficient workflow

- Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining instruments in accordance with current infection control standards

- Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service

- Managing appointment scheduling and patient enquiries

- Processing payments and health fund claims

- Maintaining accurate patient records

- Supporting the dentists and team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and Dental Receptionist





- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A professional, caring, and positive attitude

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

- A high standard of infection control knowledge and clinical presentation

- Experience with dental practice software (CareStack, Dental4Windows, EXACT, Core Practice or similar) is highly regarded

- Current CPR certification is desirable
