Signature Catering & Co, operating in St Marys, New South Wales. The business provides high-quality catering and dining services to club members, local patrons, and event guests. Due to ongoing business growth, we are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to join our kitchen team.

An opportunity is available for a qualified culinary qualified to join Signature Catering & Co at its various venues associated with St Marys Rugby League Club in St Marys, NSW. This role is suited to candidates with experience in high-volume catering and fast-paced hospitality environments.

The venue operates in association with premier club facilities, offering full-service catering, function hosting, and dining options to a diverse customer base. Signature Catering & Co operates regularly to serve high patron volumes and experiences strong demand during peak service times, major events, and function bookings.

Chef Job Duties:

- Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and the quality set by the Restaurant





- Work with the Head Chef / Sous to plan and execute new dishes as required.

- Demonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends, techniques and the ability to contribute to menu planning

- Display excellent preparation, cooking and plating skills

- demonstrated bulk preparation and food presentation skills along with a strong understanding of food safety and HACCP

- Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.

- Demonstrate excellent supportive and leadership skill set

- Be able to control and manage daily kitchen functions, ie ordering, stock rotation, etc.

For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:

- Have formal qualification in commercial cookery

- At least 2 years of relevant work experience

- Ability to work in a team and foster an environment of helping others.

- Preferred strong Asian & Western cuisine

- Willingness to work in other positions when needed by the operation.

- Ability to solve problems and work independently.
