We celebrate contemporary Italian cuisine while honouring traditional techniques, serving handmade pasta, premium produce and authentic pizzas from our 100% wood-fired oven. We're looking for an experienced Pizzaiolo / Pizza Chef to join our passionate kitchen team.

The Role

Working alongside our experienced and passionate kitchen team, you'll prepare authentic wood-fired pizzas using quality ingredients while maintaining the high standards Ciao Cielo is known for.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and cooking pizzas to a consistently high standard

- Managing the pizza section throughout service

- Preparing dough, sauces and mise en place

- Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards

- Supporting stock control and minimising waste





- Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team

- Contributing ideas and seasonal specials where appropriate

About You

You'll be a reliable, organised chef who enjoys working as part of a skilled team.

You'll ideally have:

- Experience as a Pizzaiolo or Pizza Chef in a quality venue

- Confidence working with high-volume service

- A passion for traditional Italian cooking techniques

- Strong attention to detail and consistency

- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (preferred)
