About the role

POWERSWEEP has an opportunity for two technicians to join our firm, one FULL TIME and the other PART TIME. The technicians could be either a small engine mechanic, automotive mechanic or of a similar trade with experience in mechanical. Trade qualified is not essential though preferred, though strong mechanical aptitude is essential.

The position is based in MINTO and the role includes a mix of field work and workshop work. The work involves routine maintenance servicing, machine pre-deliveries and repair work on industrial sweepers and general floorcare machinery, which are primarily Diesel, LPG or Battery powered. The role suits a technician that has strong mechanical aptitude and ideally some electrical experience; experience with sweepers and scrubbers is not essential as training and support is available.

Key responsibilities

- Maintenance services on sweepers and scrubbers

- Pre-delivery work

- Repairs on Diesel, LPG and Battery powered equipment

- Field and workshop work

About you





- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Trade qualified or able to supply evidence of suitable mechanical experience

- Able to work autonomously

- Hold a valid driver's license
