Content has always been at the heart of how we connect with our community and bring incredible luxury pieces to life. As we enter our next stage of growth, we’re looking for an exceptional Content Creator to join our Byron Bay team.

About the Role

If Instagram is where you naturally look for creative inspiration, CapCut is one of your most-used apps, and you instinctively know when the first few seconds of a Reel aren't strong enough — keep reading.

We’re looking for a Content Creator who understands Instagram inside and out, someone who knows how to create content specifically for the way people discover, watch, engage and shop on the platform today.

You'll create content across Reels, Stories and the feed, from punchy short-form video and founder-led content to beautifully styled product photography, flat lays and feed carousels.

You might spend the morning capturing tiny snippets of a Chanel bag for a 20-second Reel, then style and photograph new arrivals for Stories, before turning raw founder footage into a fast-paced edit in CapCut.

You understand that great Instagram content isn't simply beautiful; it needs a hook, pace, personality and a reason to keep watching.

This isn't a traditional videography role. We're looking for someone who genuinely lives and breathes Instagram and social-first content and is equally excited by short-form video, editing, photography and visual storytelling.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working closely with our Founder and marketing team, you'll:

- Create Instagram-first content across Reels, Stories and feed, with a strong focus on short-form video.

- Film and edit punchy, engaging Reels and social video.

- Turn raw footage into polished, fast-paced edits using CapCut.

- Shoot beautiful product and lifestyle photography using an iPhone.





- Style and photograph flat lays for Stories and feed carousels.

- Capture handbags, fashion, jewellery, shoes and accessories in a premium and aspirational way.

- Create and edit founder-led content and social-first product storytelling.

- Create polished social assets and carousels in Canva.

- Stay across trending audio, editing styles, Instagram formats and emerging social trends.

- Bring creative ideas to weekly content, campaigns and launches.

- Work ahead of our fast-moving weekly product drops while maintaining a consistently high creative standard.

About You

We’re less interested in your exact job title or how many years you’ve been doing this and much more interested in what you can create.

You'll thrive in this role if you:

- Are highly skilled in CapCut and short-form video editing.

- Understand hooks, pacing, cuts, audio, text and visual storytelling.

- Know Instagram inside and out — Reels, Stories, feed, trending formats, audio, hooks and what makes content feel native to the platform.

- Can confidently capture beautiful, high-quality video on an iPhone.

- Have a strong eye for iPhone photography, including styled product photography, flat lays and lifestyle imagery.

- Understand composition, lighting, angles and styling.

- Are confident using Canva.

- Have a strong creative eye and premium visual aesthetic.

- Can work quickly and produce a high volume of content without compromising quality.

- Are organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving creative environment.

- Take direction well while also bringing your own ideas to the table.





- Have an interest in fashion, luxury, lifestyle or premium brands.

You might already be a Content Creator, Social Content Creator, UGC Creator or creative freelancer, or your experience may have taken a completely different path.

You don't need a particular degree, job title or number of years' experience to impress us. If your portfolio demonstrates exceptional social-first content creation, we want to see it.

- $40–$45 per hour

How to Apply

Your portfolio is one of the most important parts of your application.

Along with your resume, please include 3–5 examples of short-form social content you have personally created and edited, particularly Instagram Reels or similar vertical video.

We'd also love to see examples of your photography, particularly product photography, styled flat lays, fashion or lifestyle imagery.

We're looking for work that demonstrates your ability to create content that feels current, engaging, visually beautiful and native to Instagram.

Please also include a short cover letter telling us why you'd love to create content for Lucy's Luxury.
