Applied Group is a well-established ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 Certified civil construction company based in the western suburbs.

We are seeking an experienced operator to join the Spill Response division, part of the Environmental Services section of Applied Group. This division works closely with our clients to contain spills and minimise environmental impact.

You will be working within a small, dedicated crew with a solid on-site presence, playing a key role in emergency response and remediation efforts. The role involves operating, maintaining and transporting a range of equipment—including 1.5-ton to 5-ton excavators, non-destructive digging (NDD) units and tipper trucks.

This is a hands-on position that requires physical fitness, flexibility and a proactive work ethic. Overtime and living away from home are essential requirements,



along with participation in an on-call rotating roster to respond to urgent callouts.

You will be a valued addition to our already successful and well-respected team, contributing directly to meaningful environmental outcomes.

The successful candidate will have:

- 5 Years Experience operating an Excavator

- Current HR Driver's License

- Excavator license

- White card

- Additional Tickets/Skills – Experience with an NDD truck Highly Advantageous

The successful candidate will also be:

- Fit & Healthy

- Highly Flexible

- Available for overtime which includes weekend work

- Available to travel to regional parts of Victoria with some living away required

- Successful candidate will undergo VOC certification
