THE OPPORTUNITY

We are representing a well-established practice in Maddington, in Perth’s south-east seeking an experienced Associate Dentist who wants greater clinical responsibility and the opportunity to take ownership of more comprehensive and higher-value dentistry.

(If Maddington isn’t the right location for you, we’re also representing quality practices across Perth, including opportunities both north and south of the river).

The practice has been serving the local community for almost 50 years and has an established patient base with strong demand across general dentistry, implants and larger treatment cases.

They are looking for a clinician who is confident working autonomously — diagnosing comprehensively, treatment planning, communicating options clearly with patients and taking cases from consultation through to completion.

This is not a role where you will simply be handed a chair and expected to do routine dentistry.

There is an existing pipeline of implant and comprehensive cases, and the practice wants someone capable of taking ownership of that demand while continuing to build strong, long-term patient relationships.

You will work alongside a stable, collaborative team in a practice that values strong clinical standards, autonomy and good systems. The Principal is available for case discussions, including implant and surgical planning, without micromanaging how you practise.

There is flexibility to start part-time or full-time.

ABOUT YOU





You are an experienced dentist who is confident operating independently and wants greater ownership of your clinical work.

You enjoy diagnosing comprehensively, building treatment plans and communicating options clearly so patients can make informed decisions about their care.

You are comfortable taking a case from initial consultation through to completion and take pride in both the clinical outcome and the patient relationship.

You may be a strong fit if:

- You have 5+ years of experience in Australian private practice

- You are confident across comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning

- You have experience or a strong clinical interest in implants, surgical dentistry or other complex procedures

- You communicate treatment options clearly and confidently

- You are comfortable taking the lead on larger treatment plans with minimal oversight

- You value autonomy while still appreciating access to experienced colleagues for case discussion

- You build rapport easily and genuinely enjoy educating patients

- You are commercially aware without compromising ethical, patient-centred care

- You hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and current professional indemnity insurance
