About the role

You'll be working across a range of civil construction, earthworks and infrastructure projects, operating contemporary plant and equipment. Depending on your experience, work may include bulk earthworks and excavation, detailed excavation, trenching and site preparation, roadworks, final trim, cut and fill, loading and material handling, and general civil construction activities.

Key responsibilities
Operate excavators (various sizes), dozers (D4 to D10), graders, wheel loaders, skid steers, backhoes, moxy/articulated dump trucks, and water carts
Perform bulk earthworks and excavation
Carry out detailed excavation
Undertake trenching and site preparation
Conduct roadworks and final trim activities
Perform cut and fill operations
Handle loading and material handling
Participate in general civil construction activities
Operate GPS, 3D machine control or final-trim equipment where applicable





About you
Previous experience operating plant within civil construction or earthworks
Relevant plant competencies/tickets for the machinery you operate
Construction White Card
Solid commitment to site safety
Ability to work effectively as part of a civil crew
Reliable transport and driver's licence
Valuable communication and a reliable attitude
Experience with Trimble, Topcon, Leica, GPS, UTS/LPS or other machine-control systems is highly regarded
Multi-skilled operators are strongly encouraged to apply
