Senior Estimator | D&C; Industrial & Commercial Construction Brisbane

Now Careers QLD is partnering with a highly regarded and established commercial builder to appoint a Senior Estimator with solid D&C; industrial and commercial experience.
You’ll join an established pre-construction team of two estimators, reporting directly to the Pre-Construction Manager. With design completed in-house, you’ll have genuine involvement from early concept and design development through to tender submission, working alongside a team that is focused on delivering quality projects.

The Role
Prepare detailed first principles estimates and manage tenders from concept through to submission.
Price D&C; industrial and commercial projects, reviewing drawings, specifications and scope.




Assess subcontractor and supplier pricing and identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
Work closely with the Pre-Construction Manager and in-house design team to optimise project outcomes.
Develop competitive pricing strategies and support the tender through to handover to the delivery team.

About You
Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within commercial or industrial construction.
Strong D&C; and first principles estimating experience.
Proficient in CostX or Cubit.
Strong understanding of construction methodology, buildability and commercial risk.
Excellent communication, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders.
