Love working outdoors? Want to learn a hands-on trade while getting paid? The Australian Turf Club at Randwick Racecourse is looking for a 1st Year Parks & Gardens Apprentice to join the team and help keep one of Australia's most iconic racing venues looking its best.
This is a excellent chance for a recent school leaver who enjoys practical work, being outdoors, and wants to build a career in landscaping and horticulture.
What you'll be doing
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you'll gain practical skills in:
Garden construction
Paving and hard landscaping
Building rock and timber structures
General grounds and garden maintenance
Learning safe work practices on a busy site
No experience needed - just the right attitude and willingness to learn.
What we're looking for
A recent school leaver eager to start a trade
Someone willing to learn and work safely
Physically fit and able to handle hands-on work
Motivated, reliable and ready to build a future
What you'll get
Full-time paid apprenticeship
38-hour week (Monday to Friday)
Some overtime and weekend work on race days
All safety gear provided
Onsite parking and easy access to public transport
Support and mentoring from qualified tradespeople
