Plumbing Mentor

Do you consider yourself a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mentor with a Plumbing trade background? In this role you'll be supported to work alongside a qualified Trade Trainer and assist with the delivery of high-quality training.

This is a role with a direct career path to equip you to become a fully qualified Trainer with the completion of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment while being paid as a full time Mentor.

Key accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Guide students to achieve training milestones and goals
Assist students with practical activities
Maintain the training area - clean, tidy and safe
Ensure all equipment is in positive operational condition
Assist Trainer with Student management

Skills you need to be successful:
Trade qualification in the Plumbing industry
Ability to engage, inspire and support students throughout their learning
Desire to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment




Good written and verbal communication
Basic level of computer operating skills
