Medical Receptionist - Join our Brand new State of the Art Medical Centre

We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, compassionate and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to become part of our busy and welcoming Brand new State of the Art Medical Centre in Canning Vale. About the Role

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors and play an important role in ensuring the smooth day to day operation of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service
Managing patient appointments and cancellations.
Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquirings
Processing payments and handling Medicare/private billings
Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality
Liaising with doctors, nurses and other members of the healthcare team
Managing general administration and reception duties
Supporting the practice team to provide a positive patient experience.

About you





We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly, approachable and professional
Patient-focused with excellent communication skills
Well organised and able to multitask
Confident using computers and medical practice software
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Comfortable working in a busy medical setting
Previous Medical Reception experience is highly desirable (More than 1 year experience)
