About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of cranes, trucks, and trailers, ensuring all equipment is safe, compliant, and job-ready.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and repairing faults across all mechanical components
Performing crane maintenance, from minor servicing to major repairs
Repairing and replacing components such as brakes, suspension, and steering systems
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
Using specialised diagnostic tools and equipment to resolve complex issues
Reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics
Collaborating with other mechanics and technicians to solve complex problems
Maintaining accurate service and repair records
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Providing maintenance advice and technical guidance
Working to the highest standards across all equipment and vehicles
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Relevant trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
Strong technical understanding of cranes, heavy vehicles, and trailers
The ability to think outside the square and solve problems effectively
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliability and punctuality
