BDS Mechanical is seeking qualified Truck and Diesel Mechanics, as well as experienced Fitters, to join our Toowoomba team in full-time, permanent positions. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career with a well-established, privately owned company that genuinely values its people.
BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is a leading provider of mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding services across Queensland and Western Australia. With a fleet of more than 160 mobile service units, we deliver reliable in office and workshop solutions across a service area spanning more than 600,000 km².
The successful candidates will possess the following:
Relevant trade qualification
Diagnostic experience
Strong fault-finding skills
Experience with trucks and trailers
Heavy earthmoving experience (advantageous)
Good communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Additional skills, experience, tickets, and licences will be highly regarded
Your duties will include:
Diesel engine diagnostics & repair,
major and minor rebuilds
General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4’s
Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
Checking vehicle lighting systems
Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
