Horticultural Supervisor / Specialist – Mareeba, QLD
Full time | Lead operations with the world’s largest Lemon Myrtle producer
We’re looking for an experienced Horticultural Supervisor / Specialist to oversee the day-to-day operations of our lemon myrtle plantation in Mareeba. You’ll coordinate crop care, supervise staff, and ensure our organic-certified production standards are met.
What you’ll do:
Supervise and coordinate daily horticultural activities
Monitor plant health, soil conditions, pests, and diseases
Manage fertilisation, irrigation, and harvesting schedules
Train, guide, and supervise seasonal and permanent staff
Operate and oversee machinery and equipment used in crop production
Maintain records to meet organic certification and compliance standards
Take the lead in specialised areas such as fertigation, irrigation, pest control, harvesting, or packing operations
What you’ll bring:
Certificate IV or higher in Horticulture or related field
3+ years’ horticultural production experience (organic preferred)
Robust leadership and supervisory skills
Current chemical user accreditation (if applicable)
