Full time 38 hours per week 40 roles on offer located on the processing floor - no experience required. Monday to Friday morning shifts available.
Pay rate - $26.60 per hour as per level 3, Meat Industry Award 2020. Additional payments or penalties are as per the Award Roles will commence as of September 2026.
Progression prospects with training provided Applicants must be fit as the job entails repetitive lifting and standing in an upright position for the full shift The role
Manual and repetitive labour, with lifting up to 20kg Working with raw meat products Packing/Labelling/Boxing products
General cleaning Weighing meat products Transferring carcass sides which involves pushing and pulling
Operate packaging machines Work in cold temperatures Working in dirty and smelly conditions
Adhere to food safety and quality assurance requirements. Ability to listen to and follow instructions. Attention to detail
Be punctual and reliable Criteria Work well in a team environment
Safety conscious and able to follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures Guaranteed commitment to shift times, being versatile and punctual Ability to conduct physical work in hot and cold setting
Possess a positive working attitude and not afraid to get your hands dirty Ability to pass a Pre-employment medical, which includes Drug and alcohol testing Must undergo Q fever screening/testing and vaccination as required.
