PM Operations Supervisor

Monday to Friday | 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

MRT Freight Services is seeking an experienced and reliable PM Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily afternoon operations at our depot.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who can lead a team while also assisting with freight handling and forklift operations.

Key responsibilities
Coordinate afternoon freight movements and daily depot operations
Supervise drivers and depot employees
Load, unload, scan and organise freight
Operate a forklift safely
Ensure freight is handled safely and correctly
Monitor outstanding freight and resolve operational issues
Complete manifests, reports and other operational paperwork
Communicate with customers, drivers and management
Maintain a clean, protected and organised depot
Ensure company procedures and workplace safety requirements are followed

Essential requirements
Current forklift licence
Current MR truck licence or higher
Previous transport, logistics or depot experience




Supervisory or team leadership experience
Positive computer and administration skills
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise work in a rapid-paced environment
Willingness to perform a hands-on role
Reliable, punctual and able to work with limited supervision
Strong focus on safety and customer service

Working hours

10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Some flexibility may be required occasionally to meet operational requirements.

About you

You will be a practical leader who is comfortable working both in the office and on the depot floor. You will be able to coordinate employees, solve problems and keep freight moving safely and efficiently.

This is not solely an office-based role. The successful applicant must be willing to operate a forklift, handle freight and drive an MR vehicle when required.
