Your Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
Plate and present nutritious, well-balanced meals, including texture-modified diets
Monitor and record food, fridge, freezer, and bain-marie temperatures
Ensure protected food storage, handling, and hygiene practices
Clean and maintain kitchen areas and equipment
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service

Skills and Experience Required




Minimum 1 year’ experience as a Cook (aged care or healthcare setting desirable)
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience)
Knowledge of food safety and OH&S; standards
Ability to prepare meals for special dietary needs
Strong time management and independence
