BDS Mechanical is seeking a qualified and motivated Auto Electrician to join our Toowoomba team in a full-time, permanent position. Supported by fully equipped workshop facilities and a fleet of more than 160 mobile service units, we deliver dependable, high-quality solutions across a service region spanning over 600,000 km².
The successful candidates will possess the following:
Relevant Trade Qualification
Diagnostic experience
LV, truck & trailer repair experience
Mobile plant a bonus
High level of technical ability & knowledge
Valuable communication skills
Robust fault finding skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous
Spanner knowledge preferred
Aircon ticket and HV license a bonus
Your duties will include:
Installing new vehicle wiring systems.
Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer and alarm systems.
Gathering information from customers about issues with their electrical system.
Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
Providing customers with estimated time and cost for repairs.
Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems.
Servicing of electrical automotive parts
