Senior Production Worker – Food Manufacturing & Production

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Worker to join our food manufacturing team. This role involves operating production equipment, preparing and packaging frozen ready meals, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting efficient production processes. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
Portion, seal, label, and pack meals in accordance with production specifications
Monitor and maintain food safety, quality, and hygiene standards
Conduct quality checks on ingredients, finished products, and packaging
Complete production documentation and batch records accurately
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets
Follow HACCP, GMP, and WHS requirements at all times
Identify equipment issues and perform minor troubleshooting and repairs
Assist with preventative maintenance activities and report faults promptly
Maintain a clean and organised work area

What We’re Looking For:




Minimum 2 years' experience in food manufacturing or food production
Previous experience as a Line Operator or Senior Production Worker preferred
Solid understanding of HACCP, GMP, and WHS requirements
Experience operating food processing or packaging equipment
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Positive communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to perform manual handling tasks and work in temperature-controlled environments

Work Conditions:
Manual handling and repetitive production tasks
Work in cold and hot production environments
Early morning starts
PPE and uniforms provided
Regular operation of food manufacturing and packaging equipment

Pay: $38.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 38.0 per week
