Technical Skills
• Design, build, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch, near real-time, and streaming data.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Implement data modelling techniques to support analytical and operational reporting.
• Develop Snowflake objects including:
• Databases, Schemas, Tables and Views
• Snowpipe
• Streams and Tasks
• Agile Tables
• Stored Procedures and UDFs
• Snowpark and Cortex capabilities
• Monitor and optimise Snowflake performance, storage, and compute utilisation.
• Snowflake AI (Cortex agent, Cortex analyst, Cortex search)
• Build data pipelines using technologies such as Informatica, dbt, Kafka, or cloud-native integration tools.
• Automate data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation processes.
• Support CI/CD deployment practices and infrastructure automation
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and records management standards.
• Support data classification, masking, auditing, and access control requirements.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Develop and support lakehouse and data lake architectures.
• Solid experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Advanced SQL development and query optimisation.
• Python programming.
• Data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
• ETL/ELT development and orchestration.
• Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Agile Tables, Snowpark.
• Data integration tools (Informatica, dbt, etc.).
• Apache Spark and cloud data platforms.
• CI/CD, Git, DevOps practices.
• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
• AWS S3 cloud storage
