Retail Assistant

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Retail Assistant to join our team at HW Kununurra on a full-time basis.

This role is suited for someone who has strong retail and sales experience and can confidently manage day-to-day store operations while delivering excellent customer service across both locations when required.

You will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining store standards, and ensuring the shops run smoothly at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-level customer service and drive sales
Assist customers with product selection and build strong relationships
Operate POS system (Square) and process transactions accurately
Open and close the store
Manage the store independently when required
Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising
Stock control, stocktaking, and receiving deliveries
Banking and end-of-day cash reconciliation
Assist with Instagram posts and online marketing
Keep up to date with stock and current trends





Skills & Experience
Previous retail or sales experience (preferred)
Solid communication and customer service skills
Confident working independently and taking responsibility
Reliable, honest, and punctual
Ability to handle pressure in a retail setting
Basic understanding of social media (Instagram)

About the Role
Full-time position
Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00pm
No Sunday work
Public holidays: 4-hour shifts
