The Role
We're looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to deliver wholesale meat products to our trade customers across Melbourne and surrounds. Our fleet includes vans and small trucks that can be driven on a standard car licence.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Deliver wholesale meat products to customers on time and in full
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes and time schedules
Load, unload, inspect and operate the delivery vehicle
Collect payments from customers where required
Complete delivery logs and paperwork accurately
Maintain the cold chain and follow food safety and industrial safety standards at all times
Qualifications & Experience
Valid car driver's licence — our vans and small trucks can be driven on a standard car licence
HR licence not essential, but highly regarded
Previous experience as a delivery driver
Comfortable with regular manual handling (loading and unloading meat cartons)
Reliable, punctual and well presented
Positive communication skills for dealing with customers on delivery runs
Understanding of food handling and safety standards, or willingness to learn
