Broad role with accounting & analysis!

Are you a detailed and hands-on Accountant looking for a role with an operational bent. Pitch in with operations, analysis, budget support and future planning.

About the Role:

This highly successful operational business with global reach is looking to strengthen their commercial team. With a broad remit this role will require you to go where the need is, rather than stick to the monthly routine.

With the support of the Commercial Manager and working in amongst the business itself you will be tasked with monthly duties along with added more sophisticated insights.

Duties include:
Contributing to the preparation of financial statements and associated workings; maintenance of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
Management of the Trial Balance for a number of related entities within the Group, ensuring weekly, monthly and yearly reporting is provided in a timely and accurate manner.




Ensure all GL accounts are maintained in line with global standards and that they are correctly mapped for loading into the reporting system HFM (Hyperion).
Managing the tax statutory requirements and compliance, including BAS, GST and FBT
Preparation of Daily/ Monthly Flash reporting, assist with forecast/ budget process, along with cashflow reporting.

About You:

To be successful, you will be degree qualified (qualified or near completion) have some commercial experience in an operational business and be very tech savvy. You will be getting involved in high level Excel and Power BI and be looking to moving your career towards a more analyst focused career. .
