Running from 30th November 2026 to 19th February 2027, Beach Energy’s paid Summer Vacation Program gives you the opportunity to gain practical industry experience, contribute to meaningful work and build the skills, confidence and networks that can help launch your career.

As a Summer Vacation Program - Engineer student, you will join our Onshore and Offshore division in Melbourne, or nearby to our operational sites in Port Campbell or Lang Lang, supporting operational engineering activities and projects across Beach Energy’s Victorian operations.

Working alongside experienced engineering, operations and maintenance professionals, you will contribute to operational engineering support, plant performance activities,



technical project work and continuous improvement initiatives while developing your technical capability, business understanding and skilled skills.

Throughout the program, you will be supported by experienced professionals across the business, with opportunities to learn through day-to-day work, structured program activities, coaching, feedback and practical exposure to Beach Energy’s operations.

This role is based in Melbourne and may include ad hoc travel to operational sites in Victoria, giving you the opportunity to gain exposure to operational facilities and see how engineering supports protected, reliable and productive outcomes in practice.
