Sapphire City Tyres are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanics to join our team in Inverell NSW.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Diagnose and detect mechanical faults in cars manually or by the use of computer diagnostic programs
Examine vehicle parts to ensure that they are working perfectly
Follow Checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined
Maintain and repair vehicles for customers
Air-conditioning & basic Auto electrical repairs
Assist customers in carrying out routine maintenance on vehicles such as changing oil, lubricating frictional car parts, tightening bolts and nuts and tyre change and rotation
Following environmental sustainable work practices
Help customers in buying quality car parts for replacement
Replace damaged or worn-out car parts
Keep leading mechanic inquiries and render advice on vehicle maintenance




Ensure the safety of vehicles brought in for repair
Daily workshop housekeeping & safety reporting
Test drive each vehicle after repair

Qualifications and Skills
Certificate III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Trade qualified Automotive Technician
Problem-solving skills
Aptitude for technical activities
Ability to work in a team workplace

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
