About the role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining landscapes to a high standard and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You will undertake a range of commercial grounds maintenance and gardening activities for an established Melbourne-based business providing commercial garden and grounds maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of high-profile sites including premium commercial and mixed-use precincts, shopping centres, schools, hospitals, data centres, defence facilities and apartment complexes.

Key responsibilities
Push mowing
Ride-on mowing
Lawn edging
Hedge trimming
Brush cutting
Weed and pest control
Planting
Turf laying
General garden and grounds maintenance
Soft landscaping

About you
Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience
Strong eye for detail and take pride in producing high-quality work
Demonstrate positive practical judgement and problem-solving ability
Communicate clearly and effectively
Committed to maintaining a clean and protected work environment
Sound understanding of OH&S; responsibilities




Knowledge and confidence to work unsupervised as well as within a team
Reliable, hardworking and proactive, with a positive can-do attitude
Physically fit and comfortable undertaking outdoor manual work
Hold a current driver's licence
