Large 100 staff accounting firm. A rare opportunity exists for an experienced Manager to step into a leadership role with a explicit pathway to equity partnership in the medium term because of a succession plan.
THE ROLE
You will work with both directors to manage a portfolio of SME and high-net-worth clients while leading a team of accountants and bookkeepers. A big proportion of the client base in this team are rural, primary production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing client relationships
Reviewing compliance and advisory work
Tax planning and business structuring advice
Managing workflow and team performance
Working with in-house financial planning team
You will also play a key role in the future growth and direction of the firm.

YOU
CA or CPA qualified
6+ years’ Australian public practice experience
Strong business services and tax background
Experience managing workflow and reviewing staff work
Exposure to SME groups, multi-entity structures and SMSFs
Strong communication and leadership skills
Experience with Xero, XPM, and Class is highly regarded.
