We’re looking for a talented and personable hairdresser to join our on-campus salon. You’ll deliver skilled hairdressing services to our university and local community, help mentor apprentices, and contribute to building Sleek’s reputation as the go‑to salon in Armidale. This role suits someone who loves their craft, values exceptional customer service, and enjoys working in a cooperative, growth-focused workplace.

About the role

You’ll provide expert cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments while building lasting client relationships through personalised, culturally sensitive service. We’re looking for someone who stays current on trends and techniques, works confidently across diverse hair types and textures,



and takes pride in creating welcoming experiences that keep clients coming back.

You’ll also play a key role in training and mentoring apprentices, helping them develop technical skills and professional standards. This position offers the opportunity to grow your client base, contribute to marketing and social content, and be part of a supportive team that values continuous improvement.
