About the role

You'll be treating a mixed caseload across musculoskeletal, post-operative, and sports physiotherapy, with plenty of scope to work in the areas you're passionate about. Our patients range from everyday people wanting to move well again through to athletes chasing performance, including work with the Southport Sharks VFL program.

Key responsibilities
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating a varied MSK and sports caseload
Building progressive, objective, outcome-driven treatment plans
Using testing and measurement systems to track patient progress
Writing clear clinical correspondence (GP letters, referrals, WorkCover reporting)
Contributing to a genuine performance rehab culture

About you
AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist
At least 3 years of clinical experience (2+ considered for the right person)
A love of MSK, sports, and performance-based rehab




Someone who values measurement, honesty, and doing the job properly
Outstanding communication and a warm, skilled manner with patients

About us

Human Performance Lab Physiotherapy (HPL) is a performance-based physiotherapy clinic based at Southport Sharks Health Club. We work on a simple philosophy: We Measure. We Don't Guess. That means objective testing, progressive loading, and evidence-based rehab, not vague advice and a sheet of exercises. We opened in October 2025 and we've grown rapid. This is a role for someone who wants to actually build something, not just clock in and out. You'll get mentorship, structured professional development, and a genuine say in how we grow.
