Java Developer
Mid Level role
6 month contract, solid day rate, multiple extensions expected
Central Dublin, hybrid working

We have a excellent role available with a global business who want to bring in a couple of mid-level Java developers to work on a huge government programme. The scale of applications are huge, you’ll be working across a host of new features being developed in a cloud & microservices setting.

Its predominantly a backend role with work across Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS and maybe a touch of Angular work as well. The role is well suited to a mid-level developer wanting to put a real stamp on the experience through contributing to the build of a huge enterprise system.

Desired Skills / Experience
3+ years Java Development experience
Experience working in small teams, making significant contribution to features and solving real technical challenges
Solid experience building enterprise applications across Java & Spring Boot desired.
Positive understanding of best practices around cloud deployments / CI/CD, some exposure to building automated tests and use of modern AI dev tooling.
