We are looking for a motivated Casual Front Office Receptionist to join our team at Yallungah Boutique Hotel, 62 Byng Street, Orange, NSW — a one-of-a-kind destination for leisure and corporate guests that fuses contemporary art and striking design in a beautifully restored heritage homestead.

Role overview

The Casual Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, as well as responding to guest requests in a prompt, friendly and productive manner. You will also act as an ambassador for the region, providing town and tourism highlights for guests.

Key responsibilities
Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and out, and provide information about the hotel’s facilities, services and local attractions
Handle phone and online reservations, ensuring accurate and timely booking of rooms
Maintain guest records, process payments, and manage the front desk’s daily operations
Address guest inquiries, requests and complaints promptly and professionally
Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready and issues are resolved quickly
Monitor guest access and maintain the security of the front desk area
Interact with guests to gather feedback and ensure their stay exceeds expectations
