Previous experience in cooking & preparing nutritious meals in a similar role desirable - childcare centre, aged care or similar environment
Experience in providing allergy-safe food
Current Working with Children Check
Food Safety Supervisor Course qualification or willingness to obtain

About the role
Prepare healthy & nutritious meals for morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea & late snack for up to 82 children each day, including the preparation of purees and special diet meals.
Menu planning, in accordance with the centre's nutrition policy and guidelines.
Maintaining a clean and secure kitchen & clean up after meals.
Help to purchase kitchen and centre consumables, including food supplies and cleaning chemicals.
Work in a brand recent, large, commercial kitchen.
