Job Description

Mind Australia is seeking a compassionate CALD Peer Practitioner at the Cairns Medicare Mental Health Centre. You will draw on your lived/living experience of mental health and/or AOD challenges, plus your cultural background, to walk with people in distress and support recovery.

You will help individuals explore strengths, build hope, and connect with services. The role emphasizes CALD inclusion, cultural safety and human rights in service delivery.
