Job Description

The Mobile Equipment Washer is responsible for the effective cleaning and presentation of mobile plant and associated equipment, including heavy vehicles, trailers, and light vehicles.

This role ensures fleet cleanliness is maintained to company hygiene, safety, and operational standards, contributing to asset longevity, workshop efficiency, and secure operations.

/n

The position requires robust attention to detail, physical capability, and strict adherence to workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Key Tasks

/n

/n
Clean and wash heavy vehicles, including loaders, dump trucks, pot carriers, trailers, and light vehicles

/n
Operate high-pressure cleaning equipment safely and effectively

/n
Apply cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and company procedures

/n
Remove dirt, grease, mud,



and debris from vehicle exteriors, undercarriages, trays, and cabins

/n
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of wash bay facilities and equipment

/n
Conduct basic visual inspections during cleaning and report damage, faults, or maintenance issues

/n
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (e.g., wastewater management, chemical handling)

/n
Maintain a clean, organised, and protected work environment

/n
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and WHS requirements

/n
Operate forklift (where licensed) and assist with general workshop housekeeping as required

/n/n

A valid driver's licence is required for this role.
