Our ideal applicant is a dedicated skilled with a desire to make positive differences in the lives of others. We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. This job has the potential to become on going for the right candidate.

You will be a skilled communicator with demonstrated skills in providing care to others. We provide on the job training & support, there are also set criteria (below) which you must meet. We are able to assist you in obtaining and connecting with the required skills, qualifications, and certificates.

Criteria:

Cert III (or greater) in relevant industry qualification and/or significant relevant experience

/n
Background inBEHAVIOURAL SUPPORTis highly regarded

/n
Drivers Licence & protected driving record

/n
Own vehicle with Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance (or willingness to obtain)

/n
Current First Aid Certificate

/n




Valid NDIS Worker Check

/n
Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain upon employment)

/n
Current WWCC

/n
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.

/n
Understanding of the Disability Standards

/n
Consistently ethical conduct & practice

/n
Demonstrated understanding of a person-centred approach

/n
Ability to follow established support work practices.

/n
Knowledge and/or experience in the mental health field

/n
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to connect with clients.

/n
Ability to follow individual support plans & use digital systems.

/n
