Higgins Coatings is Australia's premier commercial painting contractor, providing complete painting maintenance service and solutions to a broad range of industries. Due to growth, we are seeking a Foreperson Painter to join our Canberra team.

This is a full time permanent role. You will be on the tools and required to:
Work closely with the Project Manager to develop a clear understanding of each project and deliver projects on-time, within scope, within budget, safely
Coordinate employees and equipment/materials
Supervise employees and apprentices
Ensure work is completed safely – eg. conduct toolbox talks, update risk assessment and ensure correct PPE is worn

What you need to succeed




Must be a trade qualified painter, ideally with commercial painting experience
EWP licenses are desirable
Experience in managing small painting teams
A robust focus on safety, including using online safety systems
