Senior Full Stack Developer

Our client is a well-established financial services organisation with a modern, cloud-native technology platform. They're growing their engineering team and looking for someone who cares as much about the team around them as the code they ship.

They're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join permanently, taking a leading technical role across their TypeScript/React and Node.js/GraphQL stack, hosted on AWS, and helping shape both delivery practice and team culture.

Key responsibilities:
Lead design and delivery of complex features across a React/TypeScript front end and Node.js/GraphQL back end
Contribute to technical architecture decisions for a cloud-native (AWS) platform
Build and maintain integrations with internal platforms and third-party providers
Champion engineering best practice: automated testing, CI/CD, observability, agile/Scrum delivery




Mentor other engineers and help foster a cooperative, high-performing team culture
Partner with product, design and engineering leadership to balance BAU and greenfield project work
Ensure solutions meet security, risk and compliance standards appropriate to a regulated financial services environment

About you:
6+ years' commercial full stack development experience
Deep expertise in TypeScript and React
Solid Node.js experience, including GraphQL API design
Solid AWS experience; AWS certification well regarded
Experience with automated testing practices and agile/Scrum delivery
Proven experience mentoring engineers and contributing to a cooperative team culture, not just individual delivery
Financial services or fintech background strongly preferred
