Estimator - Aluminium Windows and Doors
IMPartners is recruiting on behalf of SAC Facades, a South Australian-owned business delivering aluminium window, door and facade packages across residential and commercial construction projects.
SAC Facades is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its team.
The role is responsible for reviewing project documentation, completing accurate take-offs and preparing commercially sound quotations that account for fabrication, materials, hardware, glazing and installation requirements.
The position will suit someone with practical experience estimating aluminium window and door packages who understands how projects move from tender through fabrication and installation.
The role
Working closely with the sales, project and fabrication teams, you will assess tender opportunities, prepare accurate quotations and help ensure projects are properly scoped, priced and handed over for delivery.
What you will be doing
Preparing quotations for residential and commercial aluminium window, door and façade packages
Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, schedules and tender documentation
Completing accurate material and quantity take-offs
Identifying aluminium systems, glass, hardware, fabrication and installation requirements
Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor pricing




Allowing for labour, access, logistics, lead times and project-specific delivery constraints
Identifying scope gaps, commercial risks and tender qualifications
Liaising with clients, suppliers and internal teams to clarify project requirements
Managing quotation timelines and maintaining visibility over the tender pipeline
Supporting the handover of successful projects to the delivery and fabrication teams
Improving estimating templates, pricing information and quotation processes
About you
Experience estimating aluminium windows, doors, glazing or façade packages
Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and schedules
Understanding of aluminium framing systems, glass, hardware and installation requirements
Proficiency using V6 and CAD or Revit (highly regarded)
Good numerical ability and commercial judgement
Ability to identify scope gaps, risks and exclusions before pricing is submitted
Transparent communication with clients, suppliers and internal teams
Ability to manage competing deadlines without compromising accuracy
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience using ERP, estimating or quotation systems is advantageous
