Established in **** and operating across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, we partner with leading organisations including Aveo, Levande, Retire Australia, Carinity and Resthaven to prepare homes and units for new residents.
As part of a successful second-generation family business, we are proud recipients of theAustralian Family Business of the Year Awardand have built a reputation for delivering high-quality outcomes, exceptional customer service and a strong safety culture.
What truly sets us apart, however, is our people.
We believe in giving our supervisors the autonomy to manage their work, the flexibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance, and the support they need to succeed.
We promote from within wherever possible, invest heavily in training and development, and provide genuine opportunities for long-term career growth.
With a strong pipeline of work and ambitious growth plans, there has never been a better time to join the team.
About The Role:
We're looking for a trade-qualified builder or experienced supervisor who takes pride in delivering quality projects, building strong client relationships and leading trades to achieve outstanding outcomes.
Reporting to the regional manager, you'll be a knowledgeable self-starter, responsible for overseeing a diverse range of projects, and bringing them in on time and on budget.
You will never be bored.
In an average day you might be visiting a site to scope works; checking in with our tradespeople and subcontractors regarding ongoing projects; or speaking with clients to discuss aspects of their refurbishment.
You need to be willing to get on the tools when needed but it will be your responsibility to manage your time to make sure all your jobs are progressing.
You won't be thrown in the deep end; we have a structured onboarding system to help you learn the TBRS way, plus you'll have the services of our dedicated project coordination team.
As you'll be liaising regularly with customers and a variety of tradespeople, you'll need strong relationship-building, communication and problem-solving skills.
As the face of our business, you'll also need to uphold our professional, ethical and building standards.
Because our clients work to strict project schedules, you'll often be operating in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines.
We genuinely support work life balance so if you need to start and finish earlier or later or pick up kids from school before coming back to work, we are happy to accommodate you.
As an equal opportunity employer, we encourage applications from everyone (our current management team is almost 50:50 male/female).
This is a fantastic opportunity for those who have excelled in the past and are looking for a significant role with a highly respected company.
An average day involves traveling to a job site or two in the morning to check progress, touch base with a sub-contractor, or complete a scope of works inspection, before returning home in the early afternoon to update job progress in our project management system on your company supplied laptop.
To Be Successful in This Role You Need:
A trade qualification in carpentry or similar, and a track record of success.
You'll also demonstrate knowledge of industry costs and time frames required to generate a scope of works.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, handle multiple projects at different locations and creatively problem solve, in a fast-paced environment to meet critical deadlines.
A track record in delivering protected outcomes, on-time and on-budget.
Prior experience in estimating or project supervision is advantageous but not essential (we can train you).
Good communication skills and demonstrated success in developing and maintaining good relationships with past colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
A demonstrated commitment to continual improvement and learning.
A can-do attitude and willingness to do what is needed to get your jobs through to completion while maintaining exceptional quality.
