An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedSite Managerto take the lead on a prestigious and highly anticipated refurbishment project inSt Kilda.
Working with a well-established and highly regarded Melbourne builder, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of aniconic refurbishment project, working alongside an experienced project team and high-calibre consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
This is an opportunity to work on a project wherequality, attention to detail and craftsmanshipare paramount, making it ideal for a Site Manager who takes genuine pride in the finished product.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full ownership of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities include:
Take ownership of the day-to-day site operations and project delivery
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades and site personnel
Drive construction sequencing, programming and project milestones
Maintain high standards of quality, safety and workmanship
Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, consultants, architects and client
Manage site logistics, materials, deliveries and construction activities
Identify and resolve construction issues proactively




Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements
Maintain a well-organised, safe and professional site environment
About You
We are looking for an experiencedSite Managerwith a robust background in refurbishment, fitout or complex commercial construction.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience as a Site Manager with a reputable commercial builder
Solid refurbishment or fitout experience
Excellent understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage a complex project from commencement through to completion
Relevant trade or construction qualifications highly regarded
