Role Overview
A Central Queensland Hospital requires a Specialist in Anaesthetics for the period 05/05/2026 – 30/07/2026.
Schedule blocks include:
05/05/2026 – 10/05/2026
18/05/2026 – 26/05/2026
01/06/2026 – 30/07/2026
03/06/2026 – 28/06/2026
08/06/2026 – 18/06/2026
24/06/2026 – 08/07/2026
15/07/2026 – 30/07/2026
20/07/2026 – 30/07/2026
Responsibilities
Perform at least one on‐call shift per week.
Provide supervisory on‐call shifts (phone advice) as required.
Follow fatigue management policy: minimum 10‐hour break after an on‐call shift; may result in a day off or a partial shift the next day.
Qualifications
Registered Specialist in Anaesthetics; Staff Specialist (FANZCA) preferred, provisional fellow considered if required.
