We're currently in an exciting growth phase, and we're looking for a Finance Manager who wants to do more than just close the month.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building strong foundations, improving processes, while leading a small team to ensure smooth and effective operations of PCL.
The Finance Manager provides an accurate, timely and efficient accounting service to Princes Court performing reconciliations of various general ledger accounts and assisting in the preparation of the monthly financials and annual financial statements.
This role also provides support and back-up for other roles within the finance and Administration team as appropriate.
This is a hands-on role requiring solid accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the preparation of financial and management reporting for key stakeholders.
Assist with the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and processing of end of period journals as required.
Assist with the management of the Fixed Asset Register.
Assist with the payable, receivable and payroll functions.
Prepare and lodge monthly BAS.
Assist in preparation and monitoring of Budgets - operational and capex
Reconcile and Claim Funding for all areas of the business
Manage and acquit grants as required
Review and manage cash balances and investments including payments, credit cards and petty cash
Supporting and mentoring a small team
Other duties as required to support the finance and administration team
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Bachelor's degree in accounting/commerce/finance or a related field.
Two years' proven experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
Current National Police/NDIS Workers Screen Check or willingness to obtain one.
Knowledge of Commonwealth's Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards and documentation and how this applies to the resident lifestyle.
Knowledge of the Serious Incident Response Scheme and its requirements.
Excellent numerical, analytical, administration, problem-solving, technical and IT skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Accounting Platforms
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work Autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality of organisational information.
