As a General Dentist, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive oral healthcare services, building lasting patient relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
This part-time position offers flexibility whilst allowing you to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes and practice growth.
Key responsibilities
Provide comprehensive general dental treatment including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients of all ages
Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges to restore tooth function and aesthetics
Conduct preventative treatments including cleanings, scaling, and patient education on oral hygiene
Manage patient records accurately and maintain compliance with all relevant dental regulations and standards
Work collaboratively with dental hygienists, assistants, and other team members to ensure efficient practice operations
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, costs, and expected outcomes
Maintain and operate dental equipment appropriately and report any maintenance issues
Stay current with advancements in dental practice and participate in continuing career development
Contribute to a welcoming and professional practice environment that prioritises patient satisfaction and safety
What we're looking for




Current registration with the Dental Board of Australia and a valid Australian dental qualification (BDS or equivalent)
Strong clinical knowledge and practical skills in general dental treatment modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and team members
High level of professionalism, reliability, and commitment to patient care and safety
Ability to work efficiently and adapt to the varied demands of a busy dental practice
Knowledge of dental practice management software and digital systems
Willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment and support practice initiatives
Preferred: Experience with cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, or other specialist techniques
