About the Role
As a Room Leader, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of your room while working closely with your Centre Manager, leadership team and fellow educators.
Leading and supporting educators within your room
Planning, implementing and evaluating engaging educational programs
Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment
Supporting children's individual learning, development and wellbeing
Completing observations, learning documentation and assessments
Building positive and respectful relationships with children and families
Supporting your team with routines, programming and daily room responsibilities
Maintaining high standards of child safety, active supervision and compliance
Contributing to the centre's Quality Improvement Plan
Supporting the implementation of Montessori principles within the learning environment
Role modelling positive, professional and respectful practices across the service
About You
To be successful in this position, you will:
Hold aDiploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
Havedemonstrated experience leading a roomwithin an early childhood education and care setting
Have a robust understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
Be confident supporting,



mentoring and guiding other educators
Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Be organised, reliable and able to confidently manage the responsibilities of a room
Be passionate about creating positive outcomes for children
Understand the importance of child safety, active supervision and respectful interactions
