The Opportunity
VAE Group is looking for a Customer Account Manager to own two key accounts while leading a team of supervisors and technicians.
This is a hands‐on role ideal for someone who has extensive experience on the tools and is ready to step into a desk role, based at VAE's Darra office.
You will inherit strong customer relationships and be responsible for maintaining that high standard through excellent time management, prioritisation, accountability, and maintaining a positive team culture.
What You'll Be Doing (includes, but is not limited to)
Lead, coach and support a team of HVAC Service Supervisors and Technicians
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and deliver agreed service levels
Build trusted customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional service and project work
Review quotations, job orders, timesheets, invoices and service documentation
Monitor labour productivity, profitability and branch performance
Partner with the Service Manager to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction targets
Champion safety, quality and continuous improvement

You enjoy leading people, making an impact on business performance, and interacting with your customers to deliver impactful solutions.If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
You will also bring:
Experience leading or coordinating HVAC field-based service teams.
Strong commercial awareness and customer relationship skills
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Confidence reviewing quotations, invoices and operational documentation
The ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
An HVAC trade background is preferred and highly regarded, with current and relevant licenses and qualifications to match
Experience in mechanical services, facilities management or another technical service industry will be considered
