Allied Construction Services is seeking an experienced
Contract Administrator
to join our growing team. Our office is based in Tomago. This role is construction site based. This is a
full-time position
that plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution and management of our construction contracts. As Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing contractual agreements, managing documentation, coordinating between stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions. This role is essential to maintaining positive client relationships, protecting the company's interests, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities
Prepare, review and maintain all contract documentation, including variations, change orders and amendments
Monitor contract performance and ensure all parties comply with the terms and conditions agreed upon
Process and manage variations, claims and disputes in accordance with contractual procedures
Coordinate communication between project teams, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve contractual issues
Maintain accurate and organised contract records, registers and databases
Track contractual milestones, deadlines and payment schedules to ensure timely completion
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract terms for new projects
Review invoices and payment claims for accuracy and compliance with contract specifications
Identify and elevate potential contract breaches or compliance risks to management
Provide contract administration support during project meetings and client liaison activities
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or similar role within the construction industry, preferably 3+ years
Strong knowledge of construction contracts,
including standard forms such as AS ********* or similar contractual frameworks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and contract management software
Meticulous attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and prioritise workload effectively
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions
Sound understanding of construction project management principles and practices
Professional certification such as Diploma in Contract Management or similar qualification is highly desirable
Knowledge of relevant construction legislation and compliance requirements in NSW
