As a
Sous Chef
at our Warriewood Brook Seniors Living community, you'll play an integral role in creating high-quality meals and dining experiences for residents, guests, and community members. With a focus on food safety, quality, and service excellence, you'll plan menus, coordinate café operations, and lead by example in a supportive and respectful environment.
Your opportunity
In this role, you'll take ownership of daily café operations, from food preparation to service delivery, ensuring residents and visitors enjoy a warm, welcoming and memorable experience.
With professionalism and creativity, you will:
Deliver high-quality food and service to meet customer expectations
Plan and coordinate café operations, including menus and stock ordering
Proactively manage customer queries and provide timely solutions
Maintain compliance with HACCP, WHS, and food safety regulations
Monitor budgets, contribute to sales and marketing initiatives, and suggest process improvements
Lead and support café staff through on-the-job training and teamwork
What you'll bring
You're a passionate and experienced chef with a flair for customer service and teamwork.



You thrive in a hospitality environment where quality, safety, and client satisfaction are paramount.
You will also need:
Commercial Cookery Certificate or equivalent
Minimum four years' experience in the food industry
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
Excellent communication and literacy skills
A collaborative and positive approach to leading and supporting others
